Smart technology with allconnect. The latest machine control technology
At the beginning of 2020, we began modernising our hardware and software concept and aligning it with smart technologies.
The basis for this is our control and regulation cabinets, which we have since equipped with modern touch panels. The uniform touch panels can be combined with different CPUs if required. This prevents the visualizations from having to be adapted again and again depending on the manufacturer.
Along with updating the hardware and software, we have also modernised the appearance of the visualization and user interface.
Easy maintenance thanks to the remote server
Another important component is our remote box. The remote box offers 3 important options:
- Integration into the customer's network via LAN
- Communication via SIM card if no local network is available
- Setting up of a machine-related W-LAN network
With the remote box, we offer our customers a wide range of options and services.
Via a locally generated W-Lan network, it is possible to use the visualization on mobile devices such as mobile phones or tablets within the reception range to retrieve information. This means that operators and service staff can move freely and are not tied to the touch panel on the control cabinet. Operating parameters can be changed within the legally permissible scope and in the process, the effects can be viewed directly on site.
If desired and with the appropriate connection, those information can also be accessed from off site with the appropriate authorisations. As such, operators have the possibility to obtain an overview of production and machine data at any time and from almost any location in the world. With this, we follow the development of mobile working.
The servicing of plant by experts
Finally, our customers have the option to use our remote service.
This starts with an initial problem or error analysis without anyone having to be on site. In many cases, operating faults can be rectified quickly and cost-effectively. This way, or our service staff can take care of required spare parts that may be required before a service visit, so that downtimes caused by multiple journeys can be kept to a minimum.
Furthermore, you can also take advice from our technologists and process engineers. Provided you allow us remote access, our experts can get a picture of the operating status of the equipment and provide valuable information and optimisation recommendations as to how you can efficiently operate your machines from our company.
Finally, there is the possibility to record, evaluate and analyse data. Data can be exported and processed further. You can plan, track and document maintenance intervals as well as develop various algorithms to establish predictive maintenance. We would be happy to work out a customised concept at your request.
If you prefer to have these services carried out externally, we are also able to send you an appropriate quotation. In the end, you retain full control over access to your allconnect system. You decide who gets access to your system and when.
In order to be able to use the advantages of remote support as fully as possible, various components (such as frequency converters) have also been converted to digital technology. This makes it possible to reach these components remotely and, if desired, to carry out initial analyses without having to go on site.
